Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Pendleton OR 908 PM PST Tue Feb 3 2026 Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon- Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon- Kittitas Valley-Foothills of the Blue Mountains of Washington- Including the cities of Athena, Pendleton, Pilot Rock, Heppner, Condon, Fossil, Ellensburg, Thorp, Dayton, Waitsburg, and Walla Walla 908 PM PST Tue Feb 3 2026 Patchy dense fog, with visibility around one quarter mile, was observed on road cameras and reported by weather stations this evening around the area. This patchy dense fog has the potential to expand in areal coverage heading into the later evening hours, and especially overnight into Wednesday morning. Motorists should be aware that dense fog reducing visibility to one quarter of a mile could become widespread this evening and should prepare for the possibility of sudden visibility changes.
